Four Corners

Americas

Four Corners is the region of the southwestern United States where the borders of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico meet at a single point, the only place in the country where four states join in this way. It sits on the Colorado Plateau and is mostly rural, rugged, and arid, and is home mainly to Native American nations, principally the Navajo Nation along with the Hopi, Ute, and Zuni. The area contains major cultural and natural landmarks including Monument Valley, Mesa Verde National Park, and Chaco Canyon, with Farmington, New Mexico as its economic center and largest city and Durango, Colorado its second largest urban area.
