Anyang is a prefecture-level city in Henan province, China, the northernmost city in the province. It borders Puyang to the east, Hebi and Xinxiang to the south, and the provinces of Shanxi and Hebei to the west and north. Anyang had a total population of 5,477,614 at the 2020 census, with 2,675,523 people living in its built-up area.
