Loudi is a prefecture-level city in central Hunan province, China, about 110 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Changsha. A small to medium-sized city within the province, it had a population of 3,785,627 at the 2010 census across an area of 8,117 square kilometers, and was named one of the ten most livable cities in China in 2007.
