Xiangtan

Xiangtan is a prefecture-level city in east-central Hunan province in south-central China. Its administrative area includes the hometowns of several founding leaders of the Chinese Communist Party, among them Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi and Peng Dehuai, as well as those of the painter Qi Baishi, the Qing dynasty scholar-general Zeng Guofan, and the tennis player Peng Shuai.
