Zhoushan

Zhoushan is a prefecture-level city in Zhejiang province, China, unique among China's prefecture-level cities in that it consists entirely of islands, more than a thousand of them, at the mouth of Hangzhou Bay. Its economy is built on fishing, shipbuilding and port and shipping services, and it hosts one of China's largest fishing ports. The city includes the Buddhist island of Putuoshan, one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism, which draws large numbers of pilgrims and tourists.
