Jabalpur, formerly anglicised as Jubbulpore, is the fourth largest city by area of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, situated on the banks of the Narmada River. It is the administrative headquarters of the Jabalpur district and the Jabalpur division, and serves as the judicial capital of Madhya Pradesh, home to the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
