Moga is a city in the Indian state of Punjab that became headquarters of the newly created Moga district on 24 November 1995 under then Chief Minister Harcharan Singh Brar, having previously been a tehsil of Faridkot district. It sits on National Highway 95, and the Dharamkot block of 150 villages has since been merged into Moga district under the jurisdiction of Ferozpur division.
