Sambhal is a city in the Sambhal district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, in the Rohilkhand region of the Moradabad division. It lies approximately 158 kilometers east of the national capital New Delhi, 355 kilometers north west of the state capital Lucknow, and about 32 kilometers from Moradabad. The city is historically notable and is home to the Jama Masjid of Sambhal.
