Yavatmal is a city and municipal council in the Indian state of Maharashtra, serving as the administrative headquarters of Yavatmal District. It lies around 90 kilometers from the divisional headquarters at Amravati, 670 kilometers from the state capital Mumbai, and 150 kilometers southwest of Nagpur.
