Kuala Pembuang

Kuala Pembuang is the capital, administrative center and economic center of Seruyan Regency in Central Kalimantan province, Indonesia. Originally organized as a single urban village, it was later divided into two administrative units, Kuala Pembuang I and Kuala Pembuang II, spanning about 123.1 square kilometers in total, roughly 370 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital Palangka Raya. The town is noted for abundant natural resources and scenic tourism potential, though development is constrained by limited funding; its population was 19,717 in 2021.
