Maros Regency

Maros Regency is a regency of South Sulawesi province in Indonesia, covering 1,442.5 square kilometers and administered from the town of Turikale, with 414,720 inhabitants as of mid-2025, up from 319,002 at the 2010 census. Nearly all of the regency lies within the official metropolitan area of the provincial capital Makassar, and it is divided into 14 districts comprising 80 rural villages and 23 urban settlements.
