Sumenep, formerly known in English as Town of Samanap, is a town and district serving as the seat of Sumenep Regency on the island of Madura in East Java province, Indonesia. It covers 27.84 square kilometers with a population of 77,155 as of 2025; its administrative capital is Pamolokan.
