Torshiz, also known historically as Turshiz or Turaythith, was a medieval district and city of the Quhistan region of Persia. It corresponds to the present day Kashmar area of Razavi Khorasan Province in Iran, an area now divided among the modern counties of Kashmar, Kuhsorkh, Khalilabad and Bardaskan.
