Fallujah

Fallujah is a city in Al Anbar Governorate, Iraq, situated on the Euphrates River roughly 69 kilometers west of Baghdad and 50 kilometers from Ramadi. It lies in the area the United States termed the Sunni Triangle, as most of its residents are Sunni Arabs, and grew from a small town in 1947 to a population of about 250,900 by 2018.
