Kiryat Bialik is a city in the Haifa District of Israel, one of five suburban communities north of Haifa known as the Krayot, with a population of 47,073 as of 2024 across 8.178 square kilometers. Named after the poet Hayim Nahman Bialik, it began as an agricultural settlement in 1924 and was founded as a town in 1934 during the Fifth Aliyah by German Jewish immigrants; it was declared a local council in 1950 and gained city status in 1976. The population is about 99.8 percent Jewish, and the city has grown into a residential community in the Haifa metropolitan area.
