Hirakata

Hirakata is a city in northeastern Osaka Prefecture, Japan, part of the Kansai region. As of December 2021 it had an estimated population of 397,681 across roughly 65 square kilometers. It was elevated to city status in 1947 and designated a core city in 2014.
