Tokushima is the capital city of Tokushima Prefecture, on the island of Shikoku in Japan. As of September 2024 the city had an estimated population of 245,264 in 122,539 households and a population density of 1,280 persons per square kilometer, across a total area of 191.52 square kilometers.
