Pekan is a town in Pekan District, Pahang, Malaysia, and the royal capital of the state, home to the palace of the Sultan of Pahang's royal family. It is also the hometown of Malaysia's second prime minister, Tun Abdul Razak Hussein, and his son, sixth prime minister Najib Razak, both of whom served as Pekan's Member of Parliament. Pekan also names the surrounding district and a parliamentary constituency.
