Simara is a rapidly growing city within Jitpursimara sub-metropolitan city in the Bara District of Madhesh Province in south-eastern Nepal. It had a population of 23,835 at the 2011 Nepal census, a figure that has grown substantially since amid expanding real estate development and new businesses in the area.
