Tagum is a component city and the capital of Davao del Norte province in the Davao Region of the Philippines, about 55 kilometers north of Davao City. Its 2024 census population was 300,042, the most populous component city in Mindanao and in Davao del Norte, and its name comes from the Cebuano word for indigo.
