Phitsanulok is a city municipality in northern Thailand and the capital of Phitsanulok province, about 377 kilometers north of Bangkok along the Nan River. Its city municipality had 62,584 residents in 2022, while its wider urban area held approximately 281,929 people. The city sits in the fertile plains of northern Thailand and serves as a major regional center for transportation, education and commerce.
