Aksaray is a city in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey and the seat of Aksaray Province and Aksaray District. Its population was 327,575 in 2025, while the wider province, covering about 7,659 square kilometers, had an estimated population of 441,136. The province's average elevation is 980 meters, rising to its highest point at Mount Hasan, 3,268 meters.
