Ceyhan

Ceyhan is a municipality and district of Adana Province in Turkey, with an area of 1,426 square kilometers and a population of 158,922 as of 2022, making it the most populous district of the province outside the city of Adana. Ceyhan sits on the Ceyhan River, which flows through the Cukurova plain and is dammed at Aslantas for flood control and irrigation of the lower river basin. The city is a transportation hub for Middle Eastern and Central Asian oil and natural gas.
