Hydissus was a town of ancient Caria and a member of the Delian League, its ruins situated near modern Karacahisar in Turkey's Mugla province, south of the city of Mylasa. It is recorded in the geographical works of Ptolemy and Pliny the Elder, though little else is known of its history.
