Karaman is a city in the Central Anatolia region of south-central Turkey, about 100 kilometers south of Konya and north of the Taurus Mountains, sitting at an average elevation of 1,039 meters. It is the seat of both Karaman Province and Karaman District, had a population of 175,390 in 2022, and is home to the Karaman Museum, one of its major sights.
