Serhetabat, formerly known as Gushgy or Kushka, is a city in Tagtabazar District, Mary Province, Turkmenistan, lying in the valley of the Gushgy River on the border with Afghanistan. It mirrors the Afghan town of Torghundi across the frontier, connected to it by both road and a 1,520-millimeter-gauge railway, and had a population of 16,038 in 2022.
