Rach Gia is a ward in An Giang Province, Vietnam, serving as the provinces administrative center, with its coastline fronting the Gulf of Thailand. As of 2025 its population was 250,661 across 45.53 square kilometers. It was established on 16 June 2025 by merging nine former wards, Vinh Quang, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Thanh Van, An Hoa, Vinh Lac, Vinh Hiep, An Binh, Rach Soi and Vinh Loi, that had belonged to the former Rach Gia provincial city in Kien Giang Province before Kien Giang was merged into an expanded An Giang Province on 12 June 2025.
