Bay of Fundy

Gulfs and Bays

A bay between the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, famous for having the highest tidal range recorded anywhere in the world, exceeding 16 meters at its head. The extreme tides result from the bay's funnel shape resonating with the natural rhythm of the incoming Atlantic tide.
