A prefecture-level city in central Shandong province, China, bordered by Dongying, Zibo, Linyi, Rizhao and Qingdao and facing Laizhou Bay to the north. Its 2020 census population was 9,386,705, of whom about 3.1 million lived in its built-up area of four urban districts and Changle County.
