Hyporeiae, also spelled Hyporeiai, was an ancient Greek town in the region of Acarnania, in what is now Greece. Its precise location is uncertain, though scholars have proposed a site in the east of Acarnania, near the border with Aetolia. It is known from two inscriptions: one from about 356 or 355 BC recording the appointment of a theorodokos to receive sacred envoys from Epidaurus, and another, a fourth-century BC funerary inscription from Athens that names the town.
