Stockholm County is a county on the Baltic Sea coast of Sweden. The city of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is the county's own capital as well. More than one fifth of the Swedish population lives in the county, which had a population of 2,454,821 as of 31 December 2023 across 6,519.3 square kilometers.
