Diest

Diest is a city and municipality in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant, situated in the northeast of the Hageland region about 60 kilometers from Brussels. The municipality comprises the city of Diest proper along with the towns of Deurne, Kaggevinne, Molenstede, Schaffen, and Webbekom, and had a total population of 22,845 as of January 2006 over an area of 58.20 square kilometers.
