Dinant is a city and municipality in Wallonia, in the province of Namur, Belgium. It lies on the river Meuse in the Ardennes, about 90 kilometers southeast of Brussels, 30 kilometers southeast of Charleroi and 30 kilometers south of the city of Namur, with the French border about 20 kilometers to the south.
