Pocitelj is a historic walled settlement and village in the municipality of Capljina, in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the left bank of the Neretva river along the main road between Mostar and Metkovic. Its fortified nucleus is protected as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina and functions as an open air museum, while the settlement itself remains inhabited, recording a population of 799 people, mostly Bosniaks and Croats, at the 2013 census.
