Slunj

Slunj is a town in the mountainous part of central Croatia, on the north-south route to the Adriatic Sea between Karlovac and Plitvice Lakes National Park, at the meeting of the Korana and Slunjčica rivers. It is the cultural and social center of the Kordun region near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and had a population of 1,674 within a municipality of 5,076 people as of the 2011 census. Administratively it belongs to Karlovac County.
