Samshvilde is a ruined fortified city and archaeological site in southern Georgia, near the modern village of the same name in Tetritsqaro Municipality in the Kvemo Kartli region. Its mostly medieval ruins stretch 2.5 kilometers in length and 400 meters in width along the Khrami river valley, and include the Samshvilde Sioni church and a citadel built on a rocky river promontory.
