Zugdidi

Zugdidi is a city in the western Georgian historical province of Samegrelo, also known as Mingrelia, located 318 kilometers west of Tbilisi and about 30 kilometers from both the Black Sea coast and the Egrisi Range, at an elevation of 100 to 110 meters. It is the capital of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region and the center of Zugdidi Municipality, and is the sixth most populous city in Georgia.
