Auerbach is a town in the Vogtlandkreis district of Saxony, Germany, and serves as the regional centre of the eastern Vogtland. Its economy rests mainly on textile manufacturing, food processing, and machine industry, and after Plauen and Reichenbach it is the third most populous town in the Vogtlandkreis.
