Brühl is a town in the Rhineland, Germany, in the Rhein-Erft district about 20 kilometers south of Cologne. A former electoral residence, it serves as a hub between Cologne and Bonn and hosts educational institutions, cultural venues, government offices, and industry. It is renowned for two UNESCO World Heritage palaces, Augustusburg and Falkenlust, along with Schallenburg castle, the Kottenforest lake area, and the Phantasialand amusement park, making it one of the most visited destinations in the Rhineland.
