Amphidolis, also called Amphidolia, was a town in the Pisatis district of ancient Elis in Greece, with its territory likely lying west of Acroreia and including the town of Marganeae. The geographer Strabo described it as a market town on the mountain road running from Elis to Olympia, near Alesiaeum. The historian Xenophon records that around 400 BCE its townsmen joined the army of the Spartan king Agis II in his war against Elis, and were granted their freedom from Elis under the treaty that ended the conflict.
