Homolium, also called Homolion or Homole, was a town and polis of Magnesia in ancient Thessaly, situated at the foot of Mount Homole near the edge of the vale of Tempe. Pausanias describes it as the most fertile mountain in Thessaly and well supplied with springs, and ancient tradition held it a favorite haunt of Pan and the home of the Centaurs and Lapithae.
