Leben, also called Lebena or Lebene, was a maritime town of ancient Crete, serving as the harbour of the city of Gortyna about seventy stadia inland. It was known for a temple of Asclepius of considerable renown, and its site is identified near the modern village of Lentas on Crete's southern coast.
