Methylion was a town and city-state in ancient Thessaly, Greece, known to have minted its own coins in the fifth and fourth centuries BC. Epigraphic evidence from around 230 to 220 BC records an official representative of the town sent to a religious festival, and its site is located near the modern village of Mirina, where excavated floor tiles bear an inscription naming the town's inhabitants.
