Mideia was a city of ancient Boeotia, in what is now Greece, mentioned by Homer in the Catalogue of Ships in the Iliad. Its ultimate fate is uncertain: one account holds that its inhabitants migrated to found the nearby city of Lebadeia, while another says the city was submerged by Lake Copais.
