Teuthis was a city of ancient Arcadia mentioned by the traveler Pausanias, who visited and described its temples. Pausanias also recorded a local story of a dispute between the city's legendary founder, King Teuthis, and the goddess Athena at Aulis, said to have taken place before the Greek fleet departed for the Trojan War.
