Besenyszog is a town in Jasz-Nagykun-Szolnok County, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary, covering an area of 138.08 square kilometers. It has maintained a sister-city relationship with Weidenbach in Bavaria, Germany, since 2014. Its population was 3,279 in 2015.
