Biatorbagy is a town in Pest County, Hungary, within the Budapest metropolitan area, formed in 1966 by the merger of the two former settlements of Bia and Torbagy. The town is remembered for a 1931 railway disaster in which a saboteur, Szilveszter Matuska, dynamited a Vienna-bound train on the Biatorbagy viaduct, killing 22 people and injuring many more. Biatorbagy maintains sister-city ties with municipalities in Germany, Romania, Cyprus, Slovakia and Ukraine.
