Felsozsolca is a small town in Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county, in northern Hungary, within the Miskolc agglomeration, sitting about one kilometer from Miskolc's outskirts on the left bank of the Sajo river at the eastern edge of the Bukk Mountains. It ranked as the tenth most populous settlement in the county and the second largest in the Miskolc metropolitan area, with a population of 7,120 at the 2001 census.
