Korosladany is a town in Bekes County, in the Southern Great Plain region of south-east Hungary, on the Sebes-Koros river. The Hungarian politician Bela Wenckheim, who served as Prime Minister of Hungary in 1875, was born here, and the Jewish community of the town, present through the 19th and 20th centuries, was destroyed in the Holocaust.
