Castrum Novum (Etruria)

Castrum Novum was an ancient Roman town on the coast of Etruria, now located within the municipality of Santa Marinella, Italy, north of Cape Linaro and about 60 kilometers northwest of Rome. It stood near Mount Guardiole, roughly 1.5 kilometers from the coast, close to the site of an earlier Etruscan settlement.
